Little Gem Records & ¡No! | First Anniversary
In December 2015, Dublin label Little Gem Records marked its first anniversary. We spoke with founder Andy Walsh and filmed a performance by ¡No!, bringing the label's story and one of its bands into the same short film.
Imperio is the project of Anna Taulés. Accompanied by Barbacoa, she performs “El desencant” from Trilogía del Desamor in footage shot on 16mm between Dublin and Berlin in 2015 and 2016.
Ana Paula Santana works with voice, breath, and machine, while Concepción Huerta builds sound from tape and field recordings. This collaborative film brings their practices into the same audiovisual space.
We visited Adrián de Alfonso's rehearsal room while he was preparing Matanzas (Crammed Discs, 2019). The resulting short documentary closes with a performance of “Cantos al Aral Menguante,” filmed at Castalian Spring in Berlin.
Recorded during the first OCTUBRE.TV x CODEX CLUB collaboration at Loophole, Berlin, this film documents Ale Hop's live audiovisual set. The Peruvian artist combines electronics, noise, and image in a tightly constructed performance.
This recap of Milhões de Festa 2014 moves between Jambinai, The Comet Is Coming, and Young Magic. The film follows the contrast between strings, psychedelic jazz, and electronic pop across the festival.
LAWNS, Joe Green, Tobias Humble, and Ben Lubin, perform material from the EP Fine at Castalian Spring in Berlin. The session was recorded in June 2021.
In 2021, Fur Voice invited OCTUBRE.TV to a Barcelona home to record “Slow Dance,” an unreleased track left off Passion Tuning (Amén Discos, 2022). Analog synthesizers, drum machines, and layered voices shape the session.
Recorded at arkaoda, Berlin, in January 2020, Concentration perform “Dead Men Don't Rape.” The track appears on I'm Not What I Was, released by Avon Terror Corps.
SKY perform “Devils,” a dark electronic ballad from the album p r e y (Baby Satan Records). Recorded in Berlin, the session is built from beats, blurred voices, and slowly shifting pads.

After performing at OCTUBRE.TV x CODEX CLUB #2 at Loophole, BUNGALOVV and Tatiana Couco recorded a live set in an empty Berlin flat. Both artists were connected to T R R U E N O, a Buenos Aires artists collective.

MATTOKÌND invited OCTUBRE.TV to their Berlin studio to film “Slumber,” from the debut EP Scenescape. Bubbling synthesizers, shifting electronic rhythms, and granular textures give the track its drowsy pace.
This short documentary follows Neta Polturak through Berlin, her musical beginnings, and her relationship with the city. It closes with a live version of “American Horror,” recorded at Noize Fabrik.
Berlin-based artist Dane Joe reworks “Wicked Game” with Neta Polturak. Recorded ahead of the EP Obsessions and Distractions, the session marked OCTUBRE.TV's first collaboration with Baby Satan Records.
A.D. Mana moves between synth-pop and post-punk. Recorded in Berlin in 2018, “Aggregates” was filmed ahead of its appearance on the artist's forthcoming LP.
Fledermaus is the dance-synth project of Samuel Valls, formerly a booker at Lupita. “Mi último cumpleaños” was filmed at Asociación Freedonia in Barcelona in 2017.
Barcelona group Doble Pletina perform “Tenemos Lagos” in an OCTUBRE.TV room session. The song pairs understated pop writing with the close scale of the recording.
